Did we Disney?

Well...not really.

Daddy and I did, in fact, run the first ever RunDisney Star Wars Half Marathon! And we did great! Having you there with us gave us extra energy to push faster. Part of that reason is because you were pretty sick. :^{ That's why we didn't really get to do very much around Disneyland. You had a croupy cough and a high fever. I didn't like it at all, but you hardly complained. Sweet baby. You DID get to ride It's a Small World with Nana and me. You were enthralled!

Here are a few shots from that weekend.
The day before the race

You coughed so hard, you broke blood vessels in your cheeks. :(

Eating a lime at the Mexican restaurant in Downtown Disney

Waiting for our lunch from Tomorrowland Terrace

The one second you wore your specially-made Mickey ears beanie
One thing that you did do that completely amazed your grandpa was, while we were having dinner in Downtown Disney the night before the race, you found the cap from your Plum Organics pouch, turned it face down, picked it up and screwed it back into your pouch perfectly. It was fantastic.

In more recent news, you seem to be sprouting 2 more teeth on top, which could explain why you've been unusually whiny recently. You've also started saying, "no," recently, which is adorable now, but I'm sure I won't like it so much pretty soon. ;^} Oh, and a cute thing you do with Daddy is that when you watch the Sharks games and they score, you raise your one arm with the goal music as everyone shouts, "YAY!" So cute.

You are so smart.

Love you, Baby!

16 Months Old. What.

You, my bouncing baby boy, will be 16 months old in two days--two days after which you'll go to DISNEYLAND for the first time!! But I'll post more about that later--I can hardly believe it! You are talking more and more every day (although not saying too many discernible words just yet) and showing me just how smart you are. You love to play and you still LOVE being outside.
Here are some of my favorite moments from the past month:

Your very first time at the beach (Pismo), right after Christmas

Tasting ice cream at Doc Burnstein's

You sit front-facing now! I had to prop up your head while you napped.

You were being so silly at Klondike's Pizza in Arroyo Grande!

Eating (and loving) kielke, like a true Mennonite

Nana let you taste her cinnamon roll, and you loved it so much, you stole her plate and licked it clean!!

Two adorable Sharks fans

Max got a Max Tow Truck for Christmas, and, of course, you loved it!

Your cousins took such good care of you! (Macey did, too. I just don't have a pic of it.)
And now a video from today. You are just too cute. http://youtu.be/Gus7dK5SFNQ

There you have it! And I will be posting again soon, with Disneyland updates!!

Love you, Baby!
